What we need: Qualified general contractors and tradesmen willing to give their time to building or remodeling. We’re always on the lookout for materials donations as well.   Our dream would be a “Blitz Build” where contractors and tradesmen are able to get the house built and dried in with all utilities and mechanicals installed in a few weeks time. Then non-skilled volunteers could assist with the finish work inside and out.   If you or someone you know is in need of decent, affordable housing, please contact our office for more information about the process of applying for Habitat home ownership.   The Habitat for Humanity International web site contains more information on Habitat’s history, mission, volunteer opportunities and contact information for other Habitat affiliates around the world.

No Workdays are currently scheduled. Check back often for our next event. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.   Would you like to know more about work days? Email your question to

Be a well educated volunteer when you arrive on the job site. Safety is our number one concern. That is why Habitat for Humanity has designed an ‘Online Safety Course’ just for Volunteers. This course is a very effective training tool for volunteers prior to volunteer day. It’s easy to use… takes just 30 minutes to complete… and empowers you with the safety knowledge you need to be an effective part of your Habitat home build. Upon completion of the online course, the Habitat affiliate you are volunteering for will receive a certificate of completion for their records. Click here for instructions and take the course.
