are the directions to the First United Methodist Church at 500 Gilford
Avenue (Route 11A) in Gilford, start and finish location of the
Walk-A-Thon:
>From points south:
Take Route 3 North into Belmont.
Just after the Belknap Mall on your left, take a right onto the
Laconia-Gilford Bypass (Rte 3N/11E).
Follow the Bypass for 3 miles.
Take the Route 11A ramp marked "Gilford Village/Laconia."
Turn right onto Gilford Avenue. The church is located about 2/3 of a
mile up the road on the left.
>From points north:
Take Route 3S all the way into Gilford.
Follow Route 3S past the Wal-Mart Plaza in Gilford (on your left).
After the Wal-Mart plaza, take a right onto the Laconia-Gilford Bypass
(Rtes 3/11).
Follow the Bypass for 2 miles.
Take the Route 11A ramp marked "Gilford Village/Laconia."
Turn left onto Gilford Avenue. The church is located about 3/4 of a
mile up the road on the left.
>From downtown Laconia:
Take Church Street to Union Avenue.
At the set of lights after merging onto Union Avenue, you will see
Sacred Heart Church on your right.
Take that right onto Gilford Avenue (Route 11A).
The church is located 1-3/4 mile up the road on the left.
